During Peters ownership of the Bijou he rarely ran newspaper ads,
relying on foot traffic and word of mouth to bring patrons through the
door. It wasn't until the 1920's and his building of his third theater
Dawe's, that he started running daily ads for all his movie houses in the
local paper. The ads for the Bijou and Palace were plan and simple. His
Dawe's Theater ads were much more elaborate, as you will see when
you get to those pages.
